The Accelerated Access Haas MBA program is available to undergraduate seniors and graduate students in their final year of study. Students can begin their studies at Berkeley Haas after a two- to five-year deferment period.

During this deferment period, Berkeley Haas encourages students to seek positions that strengthen their leadership experience and prepare them to join the determined, goal-driven community at Haas.

Once students determine when they want to begin their studies, they become eligible for scholarships and dual degree programs (more on these programs here).

Accelerated Access Haas Application Process

The Accelerated Access Haas application process is very similar to the full-time MBA Haas application. This includes a resume, two letters of recommendation, two short essays, a GMAT or GRE score, and undergraduate transcripts.

If you need help with your Berkeley Haas Accelerated Access essays, visit Personal MBA Coach’s Berkeley Haas Accelerated Access MBA Essays and Application Deadlines: 2024-2025 for tips on how tackle these essay questions. Please note that unlike the full-time application, the Accelerated Access application does not require the video essay and the two longer short-answer questions.

As with the full-time MBA application, an interview will also be required for admission to the Berkeley Haas Accelerated Access program. Interviews are granted on an invite-only basis following application submission.
