Yale SOM Program Overview
Yale School of Management’s history of social impact and the nonprofit industry continues to be an important aspect of the MBA program. However, the program spans far beyond this now as well, preparing students to become great leaders in any sphere. The school’s close connection to the undergraduate university allows for an incredibly interdisciplinary education.
The Yale SOM MBA program is also known for its integrated curriculum and global approach. In the first year of their studies, students take a series of core curriculum courses, building an understanding of the whole organization and, more largely, business’s impact on society.
Second-year students at Yale SOM broaden their range of knowledge with electives. The school believes that students benefit from access to all of the other schools and programs at Yale, thus providing a broad range of choices.
Outside of academics, students can choose from 50-plus student clubs to further expand their knowledge, skills, and connections. Yale SOM also hosts a number of conferences, seminars, and other social activities each year.
The average salary and bonus for the Yale SOM full-time class of 2022 was $160,000, and 96.1% of students received job offers within three months of graduation.
