While others might have already mentioned how Scott and the Personal MBA Coach team supported them in framing their story and navigating through the application process, I want to emphasize how patient and flexible the team is when accommodating my everchanging timeline. I had to delay my applications from round 1 to round 2, and change my target schools due to my lower-than-expected GMAT score, and the team not only supported me for an extended time but also provided a revised strategy tailored to my GMAT score.

My first interaction with Scott was the initial consultation call that we had. During this discussion, it was clear to me that I was in experienced and safe hands. I chose to work with Scott after seeing him present at an admissions event. I liked his straightforward style (he does not sugarcoat) and that he had a good answer for the question “Why should I go with you rather than someone who has worked in admissions?” (to which he responded he had the most up-to-date information, which not all former adcoms have, and he is well-connected to current adcoms). After working with him for a few months, I decided extremely last minute to apply to schools during the Covid round. He was always willing to hop on a last-minute phone call and returned edits within a 48-hour time window, which was crucial because I was on such a time crunch.

I interviewed with Nicole one day before my final interview! Not only did Nicole provide valuable feedback that improved the quality of my answers, but I instantly felt more confident after my mock interview with her. Interviews can be the most nerve-racking part of the application process and I believe my mock interview ultimately helped me remain calm, composed, and confident during my final interview.
